DAY 14 - QU'APPELL, SK

Today dad is off to Qu'Appell in Saskatchewan.  His schedule has changed slightly.  Yesterday he fought high winds and there were times he was standing on his bike just to keep going.  He spent the night is Moose Jaw.

As he had some hard rides the next few days, we altered the schedule by one day.  He was arriving in Brandon, Manitoba Saturday evening and now it will be Sunday evening.  Tonight he is heading to Qu'Appell and tomorrow night Wapella.

I checked the weather and is shows rain and winds, but hopefully, not as high as yesterday.

  1. Hi Gary

This is pretty impressive what you've undertaken to ride across Canada solo !!!
I know your sister Linda, from the dental lab business and I've signed up to do a rdie thru the Maritimes at the end of July for Craig's Cause ! I think I'll stop saying it's too windy, can't go out and train on my bike, after hearing this update !!!!!!!

  2. Hey Gary,
I think about you daily wondering exactly where you are! Sooner or later those winds are going to have to be behind you instead of in front! I met someone from PEI the other day who knew about your ride. I was happy to be able to say that you are one of the most awesome people I know and fill him in on the details of your journey. Love and best wishes....Cindy
