Dad has been invited by Russel Metals St. John's to continue his journey to Newfoundland making the journey a true coast to coast challenge and cause. They have offered to help in anyway they can. Dad is taking them up on their offer and is leaving August 15th by truck (thanks Russel Metals Halifax) and arriving via the ferry in Port aux Basques Monday morning and cycling from there to St. John's.

And so Gary's great Canadian adventure continues! This time with Brian as a biking companion. My only biking marathon was as a teenager when I biked from the TCH down into Glovertown and along a small part of the coast. I can't wait for you to experience my home province even if it's all a blur as you speed down the highway! I'm sure you'll enjoy your evenings with Newfie hosts just as much as you did with all the others that you met as you crossed the country in May and June. Safe biking guys!
