Dad arrived in Revelstoke last night around 6 pm. Had a great ride yesterday. He was cycling with his billet from Salmon Arm and they came upon a couple of cyclists. Had great company the whole way into Revelstoke.
Today he is off to Golden and is going through Rogers Pass. Rogers Pass is in the heart of Glacier National Park with an elevation of 1330m. It is a high mountain pass through the Selkirk Mountains of BC. He has quite a climb ahead of him today, but it looks like there is quite a downhill into Golden.
Here is a picture of approximately 46k east of Revelstoke before Rogers Pass at 6:45 (10:45 atlantic) this morning from the BC highway cams and 910m. Beautiful ....
